The aim of this project is the continuation of the development of a computer tool to addres the optimization of the solution of power system constraints and the voltage control. This project is jointly developed by IIT and Indra SSI for Red Eléctrica de España (REE). The starting point of this project is a computer tool for analysis of power system constraints also developed by IIT and Indra SSI for REE. The tasks of this phase of the project are the conclusion of the development and tests of the follwing programs: (1) optimal solution of power system constraints using the voltage control elements of an hourly scenario, (2) optimal solution of power system constrains of the 24 hourly scenarios of the day and (3) the optimal power flow. The project also includes the solution of power system contrainst in the intradayly markets and the maintenance of the tool.
